Here Are The Big Winners From Last Night's SAG Awards

The Oscar race is getting tight.Natalie Portman

Last night's SAG awards show was a more civilized, staid affair than the Golden Globes. There was no Ricky Gervais, no inappropriate jokes, no over-the-top dresses -- and almost no surprises.

With one small-ish exception -- Natalie Portman snagged the SAG for Best Actress.

We're betting that Hollywood royalty Annette Bening, nominated for her fourth Oscar (still no wins!) is feeling pretty nervous right now. Most people had her slated to win the SAG, and Portman is her only serious contender for the Oscar. Last night they were up against each other for the first major award -- and Portman won.

With this sort of momentum, we're feeling more and more confident that Natalie Portman will end up taking home the Oscar.

Also notably -- The Social Network didn't take home anything, while The King's Speech won the SAG's equivalent of "Best Picture" -- which is "Best Ensemble."

No doubt this will spark some chatter that The King's Speech is now the main contender for the Best Picture Oscar... but we still put our money on the Facebook movie.
