Steve Harvey's ex-wife Mary is still slamming the comedian, even as he's insisted her claims are "lies."

Mary Harvey, who released three YouTube videos earlier this month detailing Steve's alleged infidelity during their marriage, appeared on the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Monday.

Though Joyner, a friend of Steve's, had invited her to encourage her to "move on" from her 2005 divorce, Mary refused to take the host's advice.

"It took a long time for me to get to this point," she explained to Joyner, according to Eurweb.com. "The reason I've been silent this entire time is because I did take into consideration what it would do to both of our families and our community."

But she said she decided to publicly discuss the fall of her marriage because "keeping quiet hasn't served me physically. It hasn't served our son [Wynton]. I have suffered physically because of it. I'm not in good health right now."

Mary also criticized her ex, who went on to marry his alleged mistress, Marjorie Bridges, for trying to maintain a wholesome celebrity image and putting out a book on relationships while he allegedly has many skeletons in his closet.

"I think the apology should be given to the women who have been deceived into buying the books and who have perceived him as being a pillar of the community," Mary said.

Joyner tried to defend his friend, Steve, noting that he is "doing some good" for the public - but the actor's jilted ex-wife countered that it doesn't excuse his behavior towards his own family.

"I have no doubt about that, but from a victim standpoint, it's like saying to someone who was raped and had not had closure from his attacker that he's still doing some good," she said.

When Joyner objected to the word "rape," Mary reportedly shot back that "It's rape to me."

Mary also repeated her claims that she doesn't have regular access to their son.

An attorney for Steve told the Daily News in a statement last week that Mary's YouTube videos "contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information."

The actor himself, who hosts his own radio show, also decried Mary's actions, insisting, "I know the truth."

Joyner vowed to reunite the warring exes – to work out their issues in private.

"Steve and I are friends – we might be friends after this, I don't know," he said.

Groundhog Day 2011: Family Fun In Punxsutawney, PA

C’mon Phil, we need to hear spring is around the corner this Groundhog Day!

My parents lived in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania for a few years, so my kids and I know a lot about the groundhog. Punxsutawney is where crowds as large as 40,000 have gathered to celebrate the holiday since at least 1886. One of the first things you notice when you reach the small town is that everything (and I mean everything) has a groundhog on it. We have t-shirts, hats and sweaters with the rodent’s face in it. When my daughter was just a toddler and learning how to speak, Punxsutawney was one of the words she said regularly and it remains an adorable memory today. So our family will eagerly await to see what happens this Groundhog Day 2011.

Just like the movie Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray, the day remains a very big, festive celebration for the town’s natives. It’s also a festive celebration for visitors. While we were there, we often stopped by the Groundhog Zoo (yes, there is a whole zoo dedicated to the groundhog), and took pictures at the Town Square with the larger than life statue of the groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil.

Ultimately, the big news of the day obviously revolves around how Phil will emerge from his Pennsylvania burrow at Gobbler’s Knob. If he sees his shadow, then we can expect six more weeks of winter. If not, then we get an early spring.

I am holding an even higher stake in Phil’s prediction this year. After a bitter cold and strangely snowy January here in New York City, I want to hear that spring is on the way. The phenomenon of living the same day over and over again that was captured in the movie is eerily being played out in real life in the Northeast. Every week, there is another snowstorm! So I don’t care if it’s only a tradition that bears little merit on the actual weather’s outcome. I want to focus on sunny days and breezy afternoons strolling in the park as opposed to climbing over 3-ft mounds of dirty snow on the way to the bus.

With fingers crossed, I’ll be watching Gobbler’s Knob on the morning of February 2nd (and unfortunately awaiting yet another snowstorm!).

Groundhog Day 2011: Groundhog Day with Malverne Mel

Groundhog Day is on Wednesday and you don’t have to turn on the news to find out just how close–or far away–spring is.

Enter: Malverne Mel.

That’s right. Long Island has it’s very own weather predicting groundhog and he lives in Malverne.

el is Long Island’s first furry prognosticator and he will return on Feb. 2 to give us the good news, or the bad news.

Will it be an early spring or six more weeks of winter?

Starting at 7 a.m. at the gazebo near the Malverne Train Station, there will be a flurry of activities for children and adults including music by the Banjo Rascals, balloons, a Malverne Mel poster contest, Party Marty and Lucky the Duck from Long Island’s own KJOY (98.3).

State and local government dignitaries will don their top hats while Mayor Patricia McDonald will encourage Mel to leave his cozy hutch and translate from “ground-hog-ese”, Mel’s weather forecast. And God, we hope it’s a good one. We also hope Mel can get out of the ground and through the three feet of snow to tell us.

Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served at the Malverne Historical House which is walking distance from Mel’s hutch.

Join your favorite team: “Team Early Spring” or “Team 6 More Weeks of Winter” at this fun-filled event and be sure to bring your camera and take photos with Mel’s people-sized buddy who will be frolicking through the snow.

Here Are The Big Winners From Last Night's SAG Awards

The Oscar race is getting tight.Natalie Portman

Last night's SAG awards show was a more civilized, staid affair than the Golden Globes. There was no Ricky Gervais, no inappropriate jokes, no over-the-top dresses -- and almost no surprises.

With one small-ish exception -- Natalie Portman snagged the SAG for Best Actress.

We're betting that Hollywood royalty Annette Bening, nominated for her fourth Oscar (still no wins!) is feeling pretty nervous right now. Most people had her slated to win the SAG, and Portman is her only serious contender for the Oscar. Last night they were up against each other for the first major award -- and Portman won.

With this sort of momentum, we're feeling more and more confident that Natalie Portman will end up taking home the Oscar.

Also notably -- The Social Network didn't take home anything, while The King's Speech won the SAG's equivalent of "Best Picture" -- which is "Best Ensemble."

No doubt this will spark some chatter that The King's Speech is now the main contender for the Best Picture Oscar... but we still put our money on the Facebook movie.

See what Melissa Leo, Christian Bale and the "King's Speech" and "Modern Family" casts had to say backstage.

The stars of The King's Speech took home the top prize of the night, the best ensemble cast award. Backstage, Helena Bonham Carter had her second award show shoe mishap of the season, which she took in stride. As the actress took to the podium with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, she removed her impressive high heels to rest her feet. But when called to the microphone for a question, the actress found the microphone towered above her. "Oh Jesus, I should have put my shoes on," she said before standing on tip-toe repeatedly to gain height, mocking a ballerina. "I feel like I'm in Black Swan," she cracked. Firth reminded the crowd of journalists of Bonham Carter's footwear controversy from the Golden Globes, where the actress wore mismatched shoes to the fashion-conscious ceremony. "This is a woman who wears different color shoes," Firth joked. "You should watch your shoes and keep them on your feet." Bonham Carter went on to praise her ensemble cast members. "The great thing about an ensemble award is we're all dependent on each other's talent," she said looking at her co-stars. "For me, it's the perfect award for us to receive."

Following her best supporting actress win for The Fighter, Melissa Leo described awards shows as so emotionally explosive her brain melts and said she can barely keep it together from the moment her name is called until the post-show interviews. "I haven’t even called my mom. I don’t have my phone with me,” she admitted backstage. She also revealed that her strategy for dealing with the stressful question of whether she'll win is based on a coping trick she learned long ago when she drove two hours from the country to New York to make it to auditions. “I learned early on to play mind games. Give everything in that audition, close that door and forget about it. I learned that if I did that 'acting trick’ in my mind I really won’t think about these things.” When asked why she thought The Fighter has been doing to well, she didn't mince her words: "The Fighter is reaching so many people because IT’S A GREAT F***IN' MOVIE!"

Winning best actor for The Fighter was the icing on the birthday cake for Christian Bale, who turned 37 today. “I feel pretty freaking good,” he said. Having already celebrated with his family earlier in the day, he called the win "gravy.” He was reluctant to name some of his favorite performers for fear of omitting or insulting fellow actors, but he did single out Robert Duvall (“one of the finest there’s ever been"), Gary Oldman and fellow Fighter cast members Leo and Amy Adams. He also made it a point to thank editors, including Fighter editor Pamela Martin. “When you get a director and editor picking the good takes, you get 'Oh what a wonderful performance.'" Bale was sad that co-star Mark Wahlberg didn’t get a nomination but said he'd share the win with him. He said actors seem to be overlooked for the quiet roles, and he himself had plenty of those. “This was a loud role and I fucking loved it!"

The Good Wife actress Julianna Margulies reminisced about her first movie role backstage. "It was Steven Seagal's Heart of Justice. I played a hooker with a heart of gold, which you do in Steven Seagal movie. I made $2,000. Now my (TV) husband sleeps with them." On winning the award for female actor in a drama series, she said, "I was so overwhelmed. I was taken aback. Last year seemed like a fluke." But the job comes with responsibility. "I have had women come up to me and start weeping to me about their cheating husbands. There are moments where I don't want them to think that I'm the person to give them advice."

After winning best ensemble in a comedy series, the cast of Modern Family was all jokes backstage. "It’s not easy to dress my Golden Globes,” Sofia Vergara said about her fashion, a quip fellow cast member Eric Stonestreet comedically repeated. Despite their lighthearted mood, the actors took time to reveal that they are touched by the fans who come up to them. Ty Burrell likes to hear that families watch the show together, while Stonestreet said the best compliments came from not only gay parents, but also the gay teens who hold the show as a shield against those who pick on them. “It makes us feel like what we do is worthwhile,” Stonestreet said.

Ernest Borgnine, who received SAG's Life Achievement Award, brought his wife of 38 years, Tova, onto the podium backstage. “She’s the love of my life,” he told reporters. He then joked, “They said it would never last." She responded kindly, saying, “I love you dearly, even after all of these years.” Borgnine was blown away by the award. “It’s beyond comprehension," he said. "It makes you ask, am I really worth it? That’s what life is all about.” He also gave advice to the young actors trying to emulate his long career. “Keep studying.” He urged them to always be “watching people, learning what life is about.”

Claire Danes used her win for her portrayal of autistic livestock expert Temple Grandin as an opportunity to discuss the disability. "Most people assume that people with autism are incapable of empathy, and I cannot think of anyone more empathetic than Temple.” She said the disorder “is more prevalent than anyone knew," but added that there are so many manifestations of it that every case is particular and "hard to treat for that reason.” Danes tried refocus the spotlight from her to Grandin. “All of this attention is great but she lived it. I just played it.” As for her own career, Danes credited Meryl Streep's performance in Sophie’s Choice with inspiring her to become an actress. “That was revelatory for me. It was the moment I understood that acting could be so important.”

SAG Award Winners 2011 List

The 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards paved the way for what could become a big night at the upcoming Academy Awards for The King's Speech.

First the Colin Firth-lead drama beat out Black Swan and The Social Network for Best Picture. Then Firth won the Best Actor award which included a strong field of competitors such as Jeff Bridges in True Grit. With these wins following identical wins at the Golden Globes, The King's Speech should be considered the favorite to walk away with Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

In the lead actress category, Natalie Portman unsurprisingly won for her performance in Black Swan. The Supporting Actor and Actress nods went both came from The Fighter with Christian Bale and Melissa Leo coming out on top.

On the TV side, Claire Danes won Best Actress in a TV Movie for her memorable performance in Temple Grandin while Al Pacino won the guys side for You Don't Know Jack.

The Comedy Series Ensemble award went to ABC's Modern Family. It's cast did not figure into the Best Actress and Actor awards, however. Those went to Betty White for Hot in Cleveland and Alec Baldwin in 30 Rock.

HBO scored a big win with the freshman show Boardwalk Empire which beat out Mad Men and Dexter for Best Drama Series. Boardwalk Empire also produced the Best Actor in a Drama with Steve Buscemi, while Julianna Margulies won Best Actress for The Good Wife.
